A name change — nothing more
SRM Energy Ltd has supplied and installed PV systems in homes across England and Wales under a "PV for Free" scheme. This involved solar PV systems being installed at no cost to the home-owner.
If yours is one of those homes, please note the following important information.
Depending on when your installation was carried out, we may have been known as Stroma Solar SPV1 Ltd at the time. However, other than the name change, it is the same company.
Your system, working for you
The PV system in your home remains our property, but we intend to leave it where it is to continue to generate free electricity for your home. We supplied the system free of charge because we receive the "Feed in Tariff" from the Government.
The system provides generation data to enable this to happen automatically. It also enables us to see if the system has stopped working for some reason — which is obviously no good for anybody!
As it is in both our interests to keep the system working effectively, we will be in touch if this is the case. We will also be in touch if some of the key parts of the system are approaching 'end of life' and are due for renewal.
We will carry out the repairs or renewals at no cost to you. All we ask is that you allow our technicians to carry out any required work on a pre-agreed date.
If your contact details have changed since the system was installed, or you are the new owner(s) of the property, please let us know as soon as possible.
